Francesco de' Rossi (1510–11 November 1563) was an Italian Mannerist painter who lived and worked mainly in Florence, but also produced several works in Rome. He is known by many names, prominently the adopted name Francesco Salviati or as Il Salviati, but also Francesco Rossi and Cecchino del Salviati. His painting 'Charity' (1544-1548), also known as Cecchino del Salviati, is on display in the Uffizi Gallery (Galleria degli Uffizi) in Florence, Tuscany, Italy. We have reproduced this masterpiece with marble tesserae creating a fascinating mosaic.
